HOT MULLED APPLE CIDER

8 cups apple cider or apple juice
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Dash ground nutmeg
6 inches stick cinnamon
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
8 thin orange wedges or slices
8 whole cloves
Recipe
In a large saucepan combine apple cider or juice, brown sugar, and nutmeg. For spice bag, place cinnamon, allspice, and the 1 teaspoon cloves in cheesecloth and tie; add to cider mixture. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 min. to 20 min. Remove spice bag and discard. Serve cider in mugs with a clove-studded orange wedge in each. Or You can put the orange slices in the cider while its simmering (which is what I mostly do). Makes 8 servings :)
Make extra cause everyone will want more and it will keep in refrid. and can be reheated.
