SHORT RIB STEW

List of Ingredients
1/3 Cup. unsifted flour
1/2 teaspoon. seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon. pepper
3 to 4 lb. of beef short ribs.
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
4 cup. water
1 (6 OZ) can Tomato Paste
2 teaspoon BEEF- Flavor instant bouillon
1 bay leaf
8 small whole potatoes or 4 med.ium quarter
2 cup. sliced carrots
1 cup. sliced celery
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms. ( 4 oz)
Recipe
In paper or plastic bag, combine flour-salt and pepper. Add ribs, a
few at a time. Shake to coat. In Dutch oven, brown ribs in oil; remove.
Cook onion and garlic in drippings until tender. Add ribs, water, tomato
paste, bouillon and bay leaf. Bring to boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Add potatoes, cook 15 minutes
Add remaining ingredients, cook 15 minutes. Longer or until vegetables
are tender.
