This is a family recipe. She used to make this all the time. Calvin used to love it.


List of Ingredients




6 slices bacon
1/4 c. green onion
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. red wine vinegar or regular vinegar
2 tbsp. water



Recipe





Fry bacon and remove. Add onions to grease.
Fry and remove pan from heat.
Add rest of ingredients and cook until thickened.
Add bacon. Pour over leaf lettuce. This is a delicious wilted lettuce recipe
