Crunchy Mushroom stuffing

Much loved by husband and oldest son.
List of Ingredients
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, finely chopped. about 4 cups
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup margarine or butter
3 cups water
5 teaspoons chicken flavor instant bouillion
1 (8oz.) pkg. herb season stuffing mix
1 cup soft bread crumbs (2 slices bread)
1 8oz. can water chestnuts, drained. I buy whole and great on the large hole on grater.
2 to 3 Tablespoons flour Recipe
In large skillet- cook 3 cups mushrooms and onions in margarine over meduin high heat until tender...about 5 min.
Stir in 1 cup water and 2 teaspoon bouillion; cook and stir until bouillion disoves.
In large bowl combine stuffing mix, crumbs, water chestnuts, and mushroom mixture.Mix well.
Turn into a grease 2 quart baking dish.
Baked stuffing cassole 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
HINT**** One time I had no fresh musrooms. I used 1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup and can of water. Added 1 more cup of water. besides the all of the rest ingred. Gene and Stanley loved it even better. So try using the one can of cream of Mushrooms plus can of water plus 1 cup water instead of the fresh mushrooms.
