    Sharp Cheddar & Beer Fondue w/ Pretzels

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 large frozen pretzels
    • 1/2 cup strong dark beer
    • 2 tbl. finely chopped red onion
    • 2 teas. cornstarch
    • 1/2 lb. extra sharp cheddar cheese
    • Salt & pepper


    Instructions


    1. Cook pretzels according to package.qMeanwhile whish together beer, onion and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly until slightly thickened.
    2. Gradually whisk in cheese until completely melted nad smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
    3. Serve fondue with warm pretzels for dipping.
