3 eggs
2½ cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tall cans evaporated milk
½ gallon whole milk
2 tsp vanilla
Recipe
Beat eggs and add about 1 quart whole milk. Cook in a saucepan until almost the boiling point. Cool. Beat in sugar and salt. Stir in evaporated milk, remainder of whole milk and vanilla. Pour into gallon size freezer container. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
