    List of Ingredients




    4 pounds short ribs, cut cross-grain 1/2" thick*

    Marinade:
    2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
    1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
    1 tablespoon sesame oil
    1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted
    1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    2 cups soy sauce
    1 1/2 cups water
    2 cups brown sugar
    1/2 cup white vinegar

    Recipe



    Combine marinade ingredients. Mix well. Pour marinade over ribs; refrigerate 8 hours. Drain excess marinade. Broil ribs 2-3 minutes per side about 4 inches from broiler. Ribs should be cooked to well done. For appetizers cut between bones.
    Yield: 12 appetizer servings or 4 main dish servings.

    * Request that your butcher cut the ribs "Kosher Style" or "Flanken Style" into 3-rib pieces.
