    Strawberry Champagne Slush

    1 pint strawberries
    2 C White Zinfandel Wine
    1/2 C sugar
    1 6oz can frozen pineapple juice conc.
    1/2 t each salt & almond extract (OPT)
    1 lemon
    1 chilled bottled champagne
    1 chilled liter lemon/lime soda


    Recipe



    Wash & hull strawberrries & chop coursely; Combine with wine, sugar, pineapple juice conc., salt, and almond extract. Grate all lemon rind and squeeze out all juice and add to wine mixture along with lemon shell. Cover and refrigerate over night. Strain liquid and discard pulp. Pour into a large punch bowl, add bottle of champagne and soda. Serve over ice.
