4 sticks. butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
7 cups flour
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour gradually. Knead. Take about 2 cups and flatten to 3/4 inch thick. Form into round shape. Pat down. Edge border with side of fork to decorate. Prick top. Cut into 11/2-inch wedges. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, bake until light brown, about one hour. Continue until all dough is used. Makes 4 dozen.
