    1 - 3 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
    1/2 C. butter
    1 C. Flour

    Using hand mixer, blend butter and cream cheese together. Add flour and mix well. Chill 1 hour in refrig. or 20 mins in freezer. Shape into 24 balls the size of
    walnuts. Put in greased mini-muffin tins.
    Press dough on bottom and sides to form a cup.

    FILLING:
    1 large egg
    1 Tbls. butter
    3/4 C. chopped pecans
    1/2 C. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Beat egg, sugar, vanilla and butter until smooth. Add pecans and mix well. Fill each cup 3/4 full.
    Bake in slow oven (350) about 15-20 mins. Cool in pans about 5 mins. and carefully lift
    out with a butter knife.

    Marg. can be substituted for butter.
