    • 1 and 1/2 cups sugar
    • 1 cup cooking oil
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 and 1/2 cups flour, plain
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons cocoa
    • 2 oz. red food coloring
    • 1 cup buttermilk
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • **************Icing*****************
    • 1 stick margarine
    • 1 block 8 oz. cream cheese
    • 1 box confectioner's sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 cup chopped nuts


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Cream together sugar, oil, eggs.
    3. Add vinegar and food coloring and mix well.
    4. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    5. Add vanilla.
    6. Pour into 3 greased and floured pans.
    7. Bake for 30 mins.
    8. Cool cake.
    9. Mix together ingredients for icing and ice cake.
