    Rob's Rice Pilaf


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Tbs Butter
    • 1/4 C onions chopped
    • 1 C White rice
    • 2 C Low Sodium Chicken Broth
    • 1/4 C jalapenos chopped
    • Pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Melt the butter in a heavy sauce pan

    2. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent
    3. In another pan bring the chicken broth to a boil
    4. Add Rice to the onion and stir until coated with the butter
    5. Pour the boiling broth over the rice and bring back to a boil
    6. Lower heat and cover with a tight lid, cook for 20 minutes
    7. Do Not uncover until done.
    8. After 20 minutes remove from heat & stir in chopped jalapenos and cover for 2-3 minutes
    9. Makes 2-3 servings.
