    I remember watching nana make this bread often. It was a favorite of papa's!

    List of Ingredients




    1 C. cornmeal
    1 C. flour
    1/4 C. sugar
    1 T. baking powder
    1 t. salt
    1/3 C. oil
    1 egg
    1 C. milk

    Recipe



    Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix well. Combine remaining ingredients separately. Stir both together until just blended. Pour into well buttered 8x8 pan. Bake 400 for 25 mins.
