    Chocolate Upside-Down Cake

    1 1/4 C. sugar
    1 C. flour
    7 T. cocoa
    2 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. salt
    1/2 C. milk
    1/3 C. melted butter
    2 t. vanilla
    1/2 C. brown sugar
    1 1/4 C. hot water

    Recipe

    Mix together 3/4 C. sugar, flour, 3 T. cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, melted butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into 8x8 square pan.

    In small bowl, combine 1/2 C. sugar, brown sugar, and 4 T. cocoa. Spread evenly over batter. Pour water over that.

    Bake 40 mins at 350.

    ONLY good right out of the oven and served with ice cream. Oh, and you flip each piece "upside down" as you serve it!
