Chocolate Fudge Oatmeal Cookies

I've heard these cookies called many things, but this is what Gramy calls them. She used to make them at Christmas. They don't turn out every time, but the trick is to cook the sugar thoroughly.
List of Ingredients
2 C. sugar
1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. cocoa
1 t. vanilla
1 C. butter (no subs)
1/2 C. peanut butter
3 C. oats
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
Recipe
Combine first 5 ingredients in sauce pan and boil for 8 minutes. Add peanut butter, oats and nuts. Mix well and drop onto ungreased cookie sheet or wax paper and let stand until set and firm.
