Kerry's Easy Sugar Cookies

Recipe Introduction

One year, Kerry gave me a set of cookie presses with this recipe. It's a great all-purpose sugar cookie recipe!

List of Ingredients

1/2 C. margerine
1/2 C. shortening
1/2 C. xxx sugar
1/2 C. sugar
1 egg
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. cream of tartar
1 1/2 t. vanilla
2 1/4 C. flour


Recipe

Combine all ingredients except flour. Beat until creamy, then add flour and mix well until soft dough forms. Roll into balls. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 for 10-15 mins.
