These are very quick and very easy!
List of Ingredients
2 C flour
1/4 t salt
3/4 C sugar
3/4 C softened, salted butter
1 egg
1 t vanillaRecipe
Preheat oven to 325. Combine flour and salt with whisk. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Scrape down sides of bowl then add the flour mixture, slowly. Do not overmix. Divide dough into 4 balls and wrap tightly in saran wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Using lot's of flour, roll dough out and cut into shapes. Sprinkle with colored sugar, if desired, before baking. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Immediately transfer to wire rack to cool.
