List of Ingredients
9 1/2 oz. chocolate bars
6 oz. finely chopped blanched almonds
1 lb butter (no substitutes)
2 c. sugar
Recipe
Sprinkle 1/2 of the nuts to cover the bottom of a 13x13 jelly roll pan. Grate chocolate and sprinkle 1/2 of it on top of the nuts. In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, cook together butter and sugar, stirring constantly until candy thermometer registers 300. Pour over chocolat and nuts. Top with remaining chocolate and sprinkle remaining nuts on to make the top layer. Score into desired sized bars immediately. Put in frig. to harden. Break into pieces as scored.
