Another cookie I grew up with!
List of Ingredients
1/4 C. butter
2 C. xxx sugar
3 C. flaked coconut
1/4 C. lite cream
1 C. choc. chips
2 t. shorteningRecipe
In sauce pan, slowly heat butter until golden brown. Gradually stir in sugar, coconut and cream. Drop by teaspoonfulls on wax paper. Refrigerate until easy to handly, then shape into "peaks" or "cones".
Over hot (not boiling) water, melt choc. chips and shortening (in separate pan - double boiling). Stir until smooth. Dip bottoms of the peaks into the melted choc. Let harden on wax paper.
