Recipe Introduction
So yummy! You can try many variations with your favorite cookies and ice cream. Girl Scout thin mints make a great cake too!
Make in layers:
Crush 25 Oreo cookies and mix with 1/4 C. melted butter. Press into 9x13 pyrex.
Cut 1/2 gallon mint chip ice cream into slabs and lay on top of crust. Freeze thoroughly.
Bring to boil 1 14 1/2-oz can evaporated milk, 1 C. sugar, and 2 squares unsweetened choc. Stir until thick. Cool COMPLETELY. Spread over ice cream and freeze completely.
Mix together 1 large container of Cool Whip and 1 C. chopped nuts. Spread over chocolate. Keep in freezer until ready to serve.
