Gramy got this one many years ago and we make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year! It can be made ahead of time and re-heated. Also, it can be doubled or tripled!
List of Ingredients
20 oz. frozen corn
8 oz. whipping cream
1 C. milk
1 t. salt
1/4 t. accent
1/2 C. sugar
pinch white pepper
2 T. melted butter
2 T. flourRecipe
Combine all ingredients except flour and butter in large pot and bring to boil over medium heat. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Combine flour and butter in small bowl. Gradually add corn "broth" to flour mixture until it thins out to tomatoe sauce consistancy. When it has been thinned, add to corn and stir well.
