    Recipe Introduction


    We usually don't use the cheese as it is hard to find where we live.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 pound ground beef
    • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
    • 2 tablespoons grated American cheese food
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
    • 1 egg white
    • 1 package won ton skins
    • Vegetable oil


    Instructions


    1. Mix ground beef, onion, cheese, salt, the garlic salt and egg white.
    2. Fill each wonton square with scant teaspoon beef mixture. Moisten edges of squares; fold into triangles. Pinch edges together.
    3. Heat oil (1 inch) to 400 degress in 10-inch skillet. Fry wontons until golden, about 45 seconds, drain. Serve hot or cold.
