Beef Chow Mein

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 c. diced carrots
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 T. butter
- 1/4 t. ground ginger
- round steak, sliced into bite size pieces
- 1-1/2 c. water
- 1 can Beefy Mushroom soup
- 1 can Chinese mixed vegetables
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 1 t. brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large skillett or wok saute carrots, celery and onions in butter; add ginger.
- Push vegetables to the side and place steak in skillet or wok and cook just long enough to take the red out of the meat.
- Mix together water, soup, Chinese vegetables, soy sauce, cornstarch and brown sugar. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover and simmer until meat is tender.
- Serve over hard chinese noodles or cooked rice.
