Oven Round Steak

List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. round steak, cut into serving sizes
- 2 med. onions, sliced
- 5 large potatoes, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 can tomato soup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Cook onions in hot shortening until tender but not brown. Remove onions and set aside.
- Season meat with salt and pepper, roll in flour. Brown meat in skillet. Place meat in 3 quart casserole. Top with onions, potatoes and bay leaf. Pour soup over the top. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes.
