    30 Minute Pizza Crust

    Making dough from scratch is easier than you think. And it tastes so much better too! This is my go-to pizza crust recipe.

    List of Ingredients

    2-1/4 cups flour, divided
    1 envelope Fleischmann's RapidRise Yeast
    1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    2/3 cup very warm water (120° to 130°F)*
    3 tablespoons oil
    1/2 to 1 cup pizza sauce
    Other toppings as desired
    Shredded mozzarella cheese

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 425°F.

    Combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Add water and oil to dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Gradually add remaining flour until dough forms a ball. Spoon dough onto a floured surface. (Dough will be slightly sticky.) Knead dough until it is smooth and elastic; about 4 minutes. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 10 minutes.

    Roll out dough, transfer to a greased pizza pan or simply press dough into the greased pan. Top with pizza sauce, toppings and cheese.

    Bake on lowest oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is browned.

    *If you don't have a thermometer, water should feel very warm to the touch.
