    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (16 oz.) loaf unsliced French bread
    • 10 (1 oz.) slices processed Swiss cheese
    • 2 T. butter, softened
    • 1 t. dried minced onion
    • 1/2 t. lemon juice
    • 1/4 t. dry mustard
    • 1/8 t. seasoned salt
    • garlic powder, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Cut the bread into 10 slices, cutting to but not through bottom crust.
    3. Evenly divide cheese and put between slices of bread.
    4. In a small bowl, stir together butter, onion, lemon juice, mustard and salt. Brush butter mixture over top and sides of bread. Sprinkle with garlic powder, if desired.
    5. Place bread on a 20x12 inch piece of foil. Bring foil up and around bread, leaving just the top of the bread exposed.
    6. Place loaf on a baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and top is golden brown. Serve immediately
