Chocolate Nut Bread

List of Ingredients
- 2-1/4 c. flour
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1 t. salt
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 t. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter, beat in sugar. Add eggs, beating well. Blend in chocolate.
- Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk. Mix in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees about 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
