Apple Cake

List of Ingredients



• 2 c. sugar
  
• 3 c. flour
  
• 2 T. cinnamon
  
• 2 t. baking soda
  
• 1 t. salt
  
• 1 c. oil
  
• 2 eggs, beaten
  
• 4 c. diced apples
  
• 1 c. nuts
  
• TOPPING:
  
• 3 T. melted butter
  
• 3 T. milk
  
• 1-1/2 c. brown sugar
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
   
   
2. Mix dry ingredients together; then add oil, eggs, apples and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
   
   
3. Meanwhile mix topping ingredients together.
   
   
4. Remove cake from the oven and spread on the topping. Bake for 25 minutes more.
   
   
5. Serve with whipped cream.
