    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. sugar
    • 1 c. light corn syrup
    • 1 c. water
    • 2 c. raw peanuts
    • dash of salt
    • 1 t. butter
    • 1/2 t. baking soda


    Instructions


    1. Combine sugar, corn syrup and water; cook slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage (236 degrees).
    2. Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard crack stage (295 degrees), stirring constantly.
    3. Remove from heat; add butter and baking soda. Pour into a buttered jelly roll pan.
    4. When it is cool, break into pieces.
