List of Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- dash of salt
- 1 t. butter
- 1/2 t. baking soda
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup and water; cook slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage (236 degrees).
- Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard crack stage (295 degrees), stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; add butter and baking soda. Pour into a buttered jelly roll pan.
- When it is cool, break into pieces.
