Recipe Introduction
When driving along I-70 we saw the sign for Prairie Fire Winery and decided to stop. After sampling some of their wine, they offered us a glass of this delicious and refreshing sangria and even gave us the recipe. I changed it to use a Riesling since we don't have the winery close by to use their suggested wine.
List of Ingredients
2 bottles Riesling
1 (12 oz.) can Frozen Pink Lemonade
1/2 cup Sugar
1-1/2 cups Water
2 (12 oz.) containers Lemon Lime Soda
Various fruits such as strawberries, grapes, apples, limes, oranges, and pineapple
Recipe
In a large pitcher or beverage container mix the lemonade, water and sugar until dissolved. Add wine and stir thoroughly. If time allows, chill several hours or overnight.
Mix in the lemon lime soda and stir in fruit. When serving, dip out some of the fruit into each glass and then add the liquid. Enjoy!!
