2 lbs. ground beef
2 (14.5 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (14.5 oz.) cans kidney beans with liquid
2 (14.5 oz.) cans pinto beans with liquid
1 c. diced onion
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
¼ c. diced celery
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 t. cumin
3 T. chili powder
1½ t. black pepper
2 t. salt
2 c. water
Recipe
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain off fat. In a large pot, combine beef and remaining ingredients, bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes for 2 to 3 hours. Serves 10.
