    Harvest Moon Cake

    2 c. flour
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 egg yolks
    1/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. milk
    1/4 t. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe




    Mix all ingredients well and pour into a 9X13 greased pan. Bake 350 degreea 25 to 30 min.

    Frosting
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. van.
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. water
    dash salt
    3/4 c. nuts

    Mix egg whites, sugar, salt and water. Bring to boil in double boiler. Beat until soft peaks form. Add vanilla and nuts.
    Frost cooled cake.
