You can buy the Old El Paso Taco Pie kits now...but I have been doing it "my" way for a long time and we just love it. I don't measure alot, just throw things together, but I will try to make it clear.


List of Ingredients






4 sm Flour Tortillas
1 lb Ground Beef
1 pkg Taco Seasoning
2-3 Tbsp Salsa Con Queso (The Spicy
Cheese Dip)
1-2 C Grated Cheddar
1 Tomato, Chopped



Recipe




Brown ground beef and add seasoning with water called for on package. simmer til slightly thickened. Turn off heat, and stir in Cheese dip. Spray 9" pie plate with cooking spray. Lay one tortilla on bottom of plate. Spread 1/3 of the meat mix on top, sprinkle meat with a little grated cheese, and some chopped tomato. Repeat layers 2 more times, ending with meat mixture on top. If you want you swirl a bit more of the cheese dip on top with the meat, cover with the rest of the grated cheese, and top with remaining chopped tomatoes. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20-30 min. Til warm and bubbly. Top with sour cream and enjoy. Yummy!
