    We make these every year for Christmas but they are a wonderful activity for a cold day.
    Chocolate Spoons and Candied Stirrers

    We make these every year for Christmas but they are a wonderful activity for a cold wintry day.

    plastic spoons
    melting chocolate or chocolate chips
    1.Melt the chocolate in the microwave.
    2. Dip the spoons into the chocolate and lay on wax paper to harden.
    3.Wrap in plastic ribbon. Tie with a bow.
    4. Use for coffee or hot chocolate.

    CANDIED TEA STIRRERS

    34 pieces flavored hard candy, crushed
    2 tablespoons light corn syrup
    Heavyweight clear plastic spoons

    Line a jellyroll pan with waxed paper and spray with cooking spray. In a small heavy saucepan, combine crushed candies and corn syrup over low heat.
    Heat until candies melt, stirring constantly. Spoon melted candy into bowl of each spoon. Place spoons on prepared pan with handles on rim and spoons level. Let sit until candy hardens. Store in airtight container

    You can use lemon drops for tea and peppermint for hot cocoa!
