EGGNOG CHERRY NUT LOAF

List of Ingredients
Eggnog-Cherry Nut Loaf
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 T baking powder
1 beaten egg
1-1/4 cup dairy eggnog (or homemade)
1/3 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherriesRecipe
In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking
powder and 1
teaspoon salt. Mix eggs, eggnog, nuts and cherries.
Turn into
two 8x4x2 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for
45-50 minutes
or till done. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from
pans, cool in
wire rack
Homemade eggnog:
Beat together 2 eggs, 1-cup light cream, 1/4-cup sugar
and 1/4
teaspoon ground nutmeg. Makes 1-1/4 cup.
