AN OLD FAMILY FAVORITE
List of Ingredients
Sirloin Steak, 1/2" thick & cut into 6 oz. sizes
1/4 c. Dry Vermouth
1/4 c. Chives, chopped or use Freeze-Dried
1/2 tsp. each: Dijon Mustard
Worcestershire Sauce
2 T. Brandy (optional)
2 T. Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
Salt & Pepper to tasteRecipe
In chafing dish or skillet, melt butter; add vermouth.
Stir & bring to bubble.
Add chives, parsley, mustard & Worcestershire sauce.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, for a few minutes.
Add steaks & cook over high heat for 2 - 3 minutes on each side.
Season with salt & pepper.
Heat brandy (optional) & add to dish.
Set ablaze & cook a moment longer.
Serve on hot plates, spooning sauce atop meat.
