***Savory Crescent Chicken Squares***

List of Ingredients
In medium bowl, 6 oz. blend cream cheese and 4 tablespoons butter until
smooth. Add 4 cups cooked cubed chicken, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon
pepper, 4 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoon chopped chives or onions, and 2
tablespoon chopped pimientos (optional). Mix well. Separate 2 packages of
crescent dough into 8 rectangles, firmly pressing perforations to seal.
Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners
of dough to top center of chicken mixture, twist slightly and seal edges.
Brush tops with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Dip in 1 1/2 cups crushed
crouton crumbs. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350 degree oven 15
minutes. Crust will not be browned. Cool and flash freeze. Package in
gallon-size freezer bag and label as follows: "SAVORY CRESCENT CHICKEN
SQUARES. THAW COMPLETELY. BAKE IN 350* OVEN FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL BROWNED.
SERVES 6-8."
