    3 small cans of grape juice
    4 1/2 C sugar
    1 pkg dry yeast

    In a large kettle put the juice and sugar add the packet of dry yeast to about 1/2 C warm water and let get frothy. Pour the yeast mixture into the juice in the kettle. Add enough water to fill a gallon jug. Do not fill the jug all the way to the top. Allow a little head space.

    Buy a big balloon and blow it up. Put it on top of the mouth of the jug and tighten it on with a rubber band or peice of string. Let ferment for about a month. Then the wine may be racked off and put into a caraffe.

    (instead of a balloon, Scott and I use the wine stoppers made for fermenting wine that you just add water to and cork into the top of the jug. Either way you like to try it.
