    WILDERNESS SQUARES DESSERT

    List of Ingredients




    Mix as for piecrust:
    2 1/2 cups flour
    2 T sugar
    1 tsp.salt
    1 cup shortening

    Recipe



    Blend in 1 beaten egg yolk mixed with 2/3 cup milk (save white). Roll half dough to fit jelly roll pan. Spread with fruit filling. (Either canned or fresh as you would a pie). Dot with butter. Roll rest of dough to fit and
    place on top. Beat white and spread on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Frost immediately with sugar glaze. Cut into squares when cool.
