    Pork Chops with Saurkraut

    List of Ingredients




    1 onion, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 lb. (2 Cups) saurkraut
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 thin pork chops.

    Recipe



    Cook the onion in fat until golden brown. Add the paprika and saurerkraut. Cover and simmer while the chops are browning. Salt the chops and flatten with a mallot. Brown slowly on both sides in it's own fat. Place on top of the sauerkraut and cook together for 1 hour. Finally serve chops on sauerkraut with a slice of dill pickle.
