    2 C sauerkraut, chopped
    4 C water
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 lb. sausage
    3 Tbsp flour if thickening is desired.

    Recipe



    Boil the sauerkraut in the water until tender. Brown the onion in the fat and add the paprika. Cook sausage with sauerkraut in the pot. Add the onions and fat. Thicken with flour if desired.
