Recipe Introduction
Great appetizer, mom made at Christmas.
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded Chedar Cheese (8oz)
- 2 oz Blue Vein Cheese
- 2 Tbsp Butter (room temp)
- 2 Tbsp Dry Sherry
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp hot mustard (Dijon works)
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped herbs (like herbs of Provence)
- Of course crackers to serve with the potted cheese!
Instructions
- Place the cheeses in a bowl (make sure Blue Cheese is crumbled) and mix well with a fork.
- Add butter and continue to blend the cheeses and butter.
- Beat in the port, worestershire sauce, mustard and herbs.
- Place mixture in a bowl (pottery works best).
- Cover and refridgerate at least 24 hours.
- Bring to room temp prior to serving.
Final Comments
Serve with crackers.
