Waterchestnuts Wrapped in Bacon

Recipe Introduction
This is one of the most basic appetizers out there - however notice at a party this is always one of the first appetizers to disappear!
List of Ingredients
- 2 Cups Ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- Bacon slices
- Can of whole waterchestnuts
- Toothpicks
Instructions
- Mix the sauce by combining the ketchup, water, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and vinegar.
- Slice the the bacon in half lengthwise.
- Par cook the bacon - Do NOT crisp
- Wrap waterchestnuts with bacon and secure with a wooden toothpick.
- Pour the sauce over the chestnuts and allow to marinate covered overnight.
- Heat in oven and serve.
