    Blueberry Mojito

    Source of Recipe

    Cindy Crawford (yep the model!)

    Recipe Introduction

They would die in Cuba if you added Blueberries to a mojito! But even the best drinks has it's spin offs - look at the martini! It only means it's popular!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp blueberries.
    • 1 1/2 tbsp superfine sugar
    • 2 lime wedges
    • 2 large mint leaves (come on Cindy, in Cuba they do MORE)
    • Club Soda
    • 1/2 cup crushed ice
    • 3 tbsp (1 1/2 oz) white rum (Havana Club if you can get!)

    Instructions

    1. In a cocktail shaker lightly muddle 1/2 cup of blueberries with the sugar, lime wedges and mint and a small splash of club soda.
    2. Add the ice and rum and shake,
    3. Spoon the remaining 2 bsp of blueberries into a tall galss and pour in the mojito.
    4. Top with a small splash of club soda and serve with a mint garnish.

    Final Comments

I still like the pure mojito best - but this is a fun spin on the Cuban cocktail!
