Chai Tea Rice Pudding

Recipe Introduction
Chai Tea spices - ginger, cinnamon, cardamom will flavor this pudding!
List of Ingredients
- 5 cups whole milk
- 1 cup arborio rice (about 6 1/2 oz) or medium grain white rice.
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger (about 1 1/2 oz)
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- Unsweeted whipped cream
Instructions
- Stir milk, rice, sugar, and salt into a heavy large saucepan over a hight heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium low and gently simmer uncovered until pudding is thick and rice is tender, stir frequently (about 45 minutes)
- Mix in ginger and spices.
- Spoon warm pudding into bowls and top with a dollop of cream and serve HOT.
