    Easy - Good served with vanilla ice cream


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups fresh cranberries
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/4 cup margarine or butter (melted)


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 325.
    2. Spray a nine inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.
    3. Place the cranberries in the pie plate.
    4. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup sugar and nuts.
    5. Beat the egg well.
    6. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar to the egg and beat until foamy.
    7. Add flour and melted butter to the egg mixture.
    8. Beat the egg and flour mixture thoroughly.
    9. Pour the egg/flour mixture over the cranberries and nuts.
    10. Bake for 45 minutes. Crust should be golden brown.

    11. Serve warm with ice cream.


    Final Comments


    Before using - rinse and discard any berries that are shriveled or soft.
