Easy - Good served with vanilla ice cream
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325.
- Spray a nine inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place the cranberries in the pie plate.
- Sprinkle with 1/3 cup sugar and nuts.
- Beat the egg well.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar to the egg and beat until foamy.
- Add flour and melted butter to the egg mixture.
- Beat the egg and flour mixture thoroughly.
- Pour the egg/flour mixture over the cranberries and nuts.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Crust should be golden brown.
- Serve warm with ice cream.
Final Comments
Before using - rinse and discard any berries that are shriveled or soft.
