Orange Russian Cream

List of Ingredients
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 tsp grated orange peel
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp semisweet chocolate finely chopped or shaved into curls.
Instructions
- In a 1 1/2 to 2 qt pan mix the sugar and gelatin.
- Add 1/2 cup water and orange peel and stir over high heat until boiling. (about 2 minutes)
- Remove from the heat and add cream, yogurt, and vanilla.
- Whisk to blend smoothly.
- Pour into ramekins or custard cups. (6oz size is the best)
- Chill until firm - at least 3 hours.
- Cover airtight if storing up to 1 day.
- Sprinkle equally with chopped chocolate or place a chocolate curl on top each one.
