    Orange Russian Cream

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cups sugar
    • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    • 1 tsp grated orange peel
    • 1 cup whipping cream
    • 1 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tbsp semisweet chocolate finely chopped or shaved into curls.


    Instructions


    1. In a 1 1/2 to 2 qt pan mix the sugar and gelatin.
    2. Add 1/2 cup water and orange peel and stir over high heat until boiling. (about 2 minutes)
    3. Remove from the heat and add cream, yogurt, and vanilla.
    4. Whisk to blend smoothly.
    5. Pour into ramekins or custard cups. (6oz size is the best)
    6. Chill until firm - at least 3 hours.
    7. Cover airtight if storing up to 1 day.
    8. Sprinkle equally with chopped chocolate or place a chocolate curl on top each one.
