Fusilli with Cream and Mushrooms

Great simple pasta
List of Ingredients
- 14 oz fusilli
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and fresh ground pepper
- 2/3 cup light cream
- 2 oz dried porcini mushrooms, soaked, drained and chopped.
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pan of steadily boiling water until al dente with the olive oil and 1 tsp salt.
- Meanwhile pour the cream into a double boiler together with the porcini.
- In a seperate pan melt the butter over low heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
- Drain the pasta thoroughly and transger to a heated tureen.
- Pour in the cream and butter sauces toss well.
- Season with black pepper.
- Serve immediately
