List of Ingredients
- 3/4 cups white rice
- 1/4 cup wild rice
- 1 carrot (sliced into THIN coins)
- 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
- Salt to taste
- 5 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 Tbsp bacon grease OR butter
Instructions
- In warm water dissolve the bouillion.
- Add the bacon grease (or butter), onions, carrots, and salt to bouillion.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add the rices and mix well - stir with a fork to separate.
- Cover and simmer (lowest heat) for 25 mintues.
- DO NOT LOOK AND UNCOVER UNTIL THE TIME GOES OFF - 25 MINUTES COVERED!
Final Comments
The DON'T LOOK was underlined in RED - so I guess it's pretty important!
