Recipe Introduction

List of Ingredients
- 3 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 1 large red onion
- 1 1/2 tsp all spice
- 1 shot glass of vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 16 oz tomato paste
- 1 shot glass of brandy
- 1/8 tsp red pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 large green pepper
- 1 small white or yellow onion
- 2 can red kidney beans
- 10 oz beer
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup wine
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp oregano
Instructions
- In a LARGE frying pan spread the clelery salt across the pan.
- Over a medium high heat pour enough of the wine in to cover the bottom.
- Chop the onions and peppers and add to pan.
- Dice the garlic, crush and add to mix.
- When the onions become transparent add the ground beef and brown.
- Drain in a colander and remove the excess fat and grease.
- Pour in all the remaining ingredients into a large soup pot heat on medium and stir occasionally. Bring to a boil.
- Add the meat mixture at this time.
- Bring to a boil.
- Turn down to low simmer for at least 30 minutes and stir occasionally.
- You can cook on low for up to 1 1/2 hours.
Final Comments
If mixture is too thick add an additional 8 oz of tomato paste and 3/4 cup beer. If mix is too thin add small amounts of cornstarch (STIR CONSTANTLY).
